Fastest BMXer on Solid

Long time Solid family member Brent Everitt became the fastest BMXer on Solid last week. For those of you who don’t know Brent and his family, they have been racing land speed since 2004 at Bonneville and El Mirage. Last week was Speed Week at Bonneville. So the family packed up the race car and the crew and headed out to break a land speed record for their race class {current record is 260mph}.

This year Brent was given the honor of driving. But without having a race license had to go thru the steps to get the chance to break thier class record. At Bonneville there are two tracks. One is three miles long, which he drove once to get his D license at 150mph to graduate to the five mile track. Brent then drove the five mile track six times where he had five runs over 190mph and a finial run at 196.385mph. He says he is happy, but unsatisfied. The car has some bugs to work out beforeĀ  the next race in November at El Mirage where he is planing on going 200mph. GO FAST BROTHER!!!!
