Freestylin’
Posted by Robert on Nov 14, 2008
I ran across the Freestylin book web print the other day and was blown away by it. Its funny looking back on the trends of the 80’s and how much they’ve gone full circle. Some things have definitely changed though. What was once “free”style has somehow become a scene of clones all trying to emulate one homogeneous style. Lord knows the 80’s had their share of grotesque fads, but I would take hip packs and absurd seatpost heights over a monoculture of weight weenies on scooter bikes anyday.
Whatever the height of your seatpost, the book has some great nostalgia I think everyone can appreciate.
Pegs? Whaaaa…

Finally, after years of seclusion, pegs are back and trimmed up a bit. 4″ long, internally relieved, 4140, heattreated, black oxided and all done in the US with a weight of 7.8 ounces each. Extra holes in the end cap with threaded holes for anti spin action. Available direct only.
Have’n opinion?
Posted by Robert on Nov 3, 2008
Yep, its that day. You have to admit all the hype has been entertaining. I’m astounded, though, to find people with absolutely no opinion or knowledge of pressing issues. I’m not necessarily urging everyone to “Barack the Vote”. But really, beyond voting for which political clown to run this circus, there are a number of hefty laws being pushed at the state level. From speed trains to gay marriage, there’s something for everyone. Educate yourself and go fill in some dots.
If you’re anything like me and find it a bitch to make sense of propositions, this is a good straightforward site to help.

Kevin recently moved from the east coast back to Cali and ironically I just made the jump to Boston. Seeing as he’s no longer in NY, what better time to post these photos of him and his bro in the city. Sorry Cap, I should really clear my inbox more often.

So Kurtis won the contest, stoked. Chris San Agustin made a video and there is one on the Ride site too. Sponsoring a benefit jam for Aitken in Colorado put on by Mike Meister at the end of the month. Everyone should go out of their way to support that guy. New stuff soon…supertherm AAs, pegs, softgoods, 8.5″ bars…
